Roger L. Kees, a dedicated teacher who worked tirelessly for many years before enjoying a well-earned retirement, passed away on June 6, 2024, in Brazoria, TX. He was born on October23, 1955, in Bay City, TX. Roger excelled in his career and touched the lives of many students throughout his time as an educator.
Roger's passion for teaching was evident in the impact made on his students and colleagues. His commitment to education extended beyond the classroom, shaping the future generation with knowledge and wisdom. His Bachelor's degree in Education laid the foundation for his successful career and inspired those around him.
Apart from his professional accomplishments, Roger found solace and joy in attending his church and engaging in various church activities. His dedication to his faith was unwavering, and he cherished the moments spent within his community of believers.
Roger leaves behind a legacy that will be cherished by all who knew him. He is survived by his sister Lou Ann Walker and her husband J.D. of Hot Springs Village, AR. Additionally, he is remembered by his nephews Seth Walker and Dustin Walker.
A visitation service in memory of Roger L. Kees will be held on June 12, 2024, at 10:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church of Brazoria followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at Brazoria Cemetery.
In honor of Roger's life and contributions, let us remember him for his dedication to education, unwavering faith, and the positive impact he had on those around him. May he rest in peace knowing that his legacy lives on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
