Florence- Roger D. Lotto, 89, of Florence, Wis., passed away Saturday, January 22, 2022, at the Florence Health Services, Florence, Wis.
He was born May 28, 1932, in Wolf River, Wis., son of the late Lawrence and Mary (Shannon) Lotto. Roger grew up in Goodman, Wis., and was a graduate of Goodman High School, class of 1950. Following his graduation, he proudly enlisted in the United States Air Force and served from 1952 until his honorable discharge in 1956. Roger lived in numerous places following his military career before returning to Goodman in the late 1980s. He worked for the railroad and had been the owner and operator of Noresco.
Roger enjoyed hunting, fishing, and especially time spent with family and friends.
Survivors include one son, Lawrence (Katy) Lotto, Illinois; two daughters, Angelique (Charles) Anderson, Elgin, Ill. And Beth Ann Jensen, Elgin, Ill.; two brothers, Larry (Marlene) Lotto, Armstrong Creek, Wis., and Robert Lotto, Green Bay, Wis.; two sisters, LaVerne (Bernard) Kowalkowski, Armstrong Creek, Wis., and Linda Majewski, Armstrong Creek, Wis.; nine grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; two brothers-in-law, James Peterson, Minn., and Patrick Thomas, Armstrong Creek, Wis.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by one son, Mark Lotto; one daughter, Cynthia Thompson; two sisters, Marilyn Peterson and Joanne Thomas; and grandson, Eric Thompson.
A celebration of Roger's life will be held on June 4, 2022, 1:00-5:00 p.m., 208 Mill Street, Goodman, WI.
