Roger Dale Perdue, 71, of Huntington, West Virginia, passed away while at home on Friday, January 9, 2026. Born on February 10, 1954, Roger was the son of the late Millard Perdue and Annabelle Barnett Perdue. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Betty Perdue, a brother, Jerry Perdue, his beloved parents-in-law, Max and Nancy Kilgore and his brother in law Johnny Gooch. Roger is survived by his wife of 50 years, Karen Lee Kilgore Perdue; his two sons, Max Perdue and B.J. Perdue (Allison); and his cherished grandchildren: Hunter Lee Perdue, Tyler David Dale Perdue, Leena Paisley Perdue, and Avery Anabelle Perdue. If you knew Roger, you knew his grandchildren were the light of his life-they brought him endless joy and pride. He is also survived by his sister, Mary Perdue Gooch, along with many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly, and a host of friends and special neighbors who meant so much to him. Roger was a retired steelworker and contractor, with a special knack for running large equipment. During retirement he enjoyed auto repair and never wanted to miss a dirt track race. Roger will be deeply missed by his family and friends, especially his grandchildren, who will forever carry his love in their hearts.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date for close family and friends.  Reger Funeral Home, Huntington, WV is assisting the family.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.  Online condolences may be made to the family at www.regerfh.com.
