Roger Dale Rorie

Roger Dale Rorie, 67, a resident of Prairie Grove, formerly of Harrison, passed away Monday, July 4, 2022, at Harrison.
He was born September 17, 1954, at Mountain Home, along with his twin sister, Marsha, to Earnest Ray and Melba Elizabeth Young Rorie. He married Miss Beverly Ann Norton on July 18, 1981, at Harrison. He began working for Pepsi Cola Company in 1985, where he worked as an accountant and office manager for 33 years. He was a Christian and enjoyed working on computers and rebuilding pianos. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Jimmie Rorie; and a sister, Donna Rorie.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Beverly Rorie of Prairie Grove; a daughter, Lindsey Jane Rorie of Prairie Grove; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Linda and David Walker of Marshall, Texas, Marsha Rorie of Omaha, and Peggy Spoonemore of Winona, Missouri; his aunts, Joyce Burline (George) Redden of Hackett, Nadine (Nelson) Young of Huntsville, Alabama, Opal Blankenship of Yellville, Betty Martin of Harrison, Wilma (Jim) Green of Hardenville, Missouri, and Bertha Rorie of Flippin; his step-father, Donald Davis of Flippin; and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 7, 2022, at Maplewood Cemetery with Mickey Miller officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Holt Memorial Chapel.
