Roger Rueter Obituary

Roger Bruce Rueter
Jacksonville - Roger Bruce Rueter, 66 of Jacksonville, passed away Thursday, January 29, 2026. He was born September 17, 1959, the son of Donald and Judith (Christison) Rueter.
Bruce, or as many called him, "Pops", is survived by two beautiful daughters, Ashley Rueter and Samantha (Michael) Feigerle; two wonderful grandchildren, Zachary and Mackenzie Feigerle; and one amazing brother, Richard Rueter.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, James Rueter.
Bruce was the epitome of a true American Union Man and worked careers with both Miller-Coors and McDonnell Douglas. He loved his daughters and grandkids and enjoyed go-kart racing, off-roading in the desert, Car Shows, watching dirt track races and sharing stories about his adventures in life with friends and family.
A burial be held at Memorial Lawn Cemetery at a later date. The Williamson Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Bruce we were more than cousins growing up we were best friends spending almost every weekend together when younger we had a great childhood so many great memories even thou we lost contact later in life I thought about our childhood often, I'll always fond memories of the stories you told. RIP until we meet again.
