Roger Schindel Obituary
Roger Schindel, age 75, of Midland, passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2025. He was born on September 6, 1949, the son of Albert and Marie (Lybeer) Schindel, in Stockbridge, MI. He graduated with his Associates Degree from Ferris State University. Roger was a jack of all trades, working many different jobs throughout his lifetime. He worked as a woodworker, a farrier, and in the automotive industry.
Roger had a passion for reading and enjoyed visiting coffee shops. He also had an appreciation for the outdoors, spending much of his time hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his son: Martin (Kelli) Schindel; grandchildren: Oriana, Beau, Pacience, Parker, Hunter, and Bella; great-granddaughter: Silvia; sister-in-law: Joanne Schindel; along with many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Marie, and his brother, Ronald Schindel.
Funeral services will take place on Friday, January 31, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, in Gladwin. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2025 from 4:00-8:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home in Gladwin. Roger will be laid to rest at Ridge Cemetery in Gladwin.
