Roger Tiktin

Roger D. Tiktin age 74, beloved husband of Margaret (nee O'Malley); loving father of Daniel, Mark (Brittany) and Tanya (Dorian); grandfather of Nathan, Kayla and Zander; son of Sol Tiktin and Shirley Moss; brother of Stephanie Alexander; uncle of Kelly, Vickie and many more.
Roger was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, friend, attorney, and mentor to many. Roger and Margaret met on a blind date, it was love at first sight and they were inseparable from that day forward. Roger was a talented musician who won the Battle of the Bands in San Francisco while attending UC Berkeley and he shared that talent with anyone who wanted to learn guitar. Roger was handsome, genuine, brave, super-smart and good-natured. He had a quick wit and was always making people laugh. He loved taking the kids and grandkids (or anyone willing to go with him) to breakfast, it was a highlight of his life. He was an instant friend of anyone he met. He loved travel, history, Broadway musicals, and was the most avid sports fan ever. Roger was a Diamond Life Master in Bridge and he played for hours even through his devastating illness which he fought so long and hard to conquer.
Roger will be honored with a Celebration of Life to be held from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 12, 2023 at the Social Hall at Columbia Park, 7100 Columbia Road, Olmsted Township, Ohio 44138. www.BerryMcGreevey.com
