Roger Tilley Obituary
Mr. Roger Dale "Rambo" Tilley, age 61, passed away Saturday, December 13, 2025 at Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. Roger was born June 20, 1964 to David Thomas and the late Geraldine Randleman Tilley.
Roger attended Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. He loved fishing, camping and spending time with his family.
Survivors include: his father, David Thomas Tilley of Elkin; daughter, Victoria Lee Tilley of Elkin; brother, David Lee Tilley and Bee Bee of Elkin; sisters, Karen Houston of Jonesville and Benita Tilley of Ames, Iowa; nieces, Mackenzie Tilley of Elkin and Jessica Tilley of Ames, Iowa; nephews, David Tilley, Jr. of Elkin, Dustin Tilley of Ames, Iowa and Zander Santillan of Ames, Iowa.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 19, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel with Dr. Danny Dodds officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Crestwood Memorial Gardens.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Road, Dobson, NC 27017.
The family would like to thank the staff of Woltz Hospice Home and Wake Forest Baptist Cancer Center for their love and care.
