C. Wanda Tilley

C. Wanda Tilley, age 94, of Sweetwater, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2026. Born on March 24, 1931, Wanda lived a long and faithful life devoted to her family, her church, and her Lord.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul Anderson Tilley; her father, Theodore Osborne; her step-mother, Louise Osborne; her sisters, Peggy Jenkins and Catherine Tharp; and her brother, John Osborne.

Wanda is survived by her loving daughters: Nancy Frye (Charles), Shirley Pittman, and Judy Tilley. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Kelley Lester (Dennis), Melissa Randle (David), Jeff Weaver (Mary Beth), and Michael Weaver. Her legacy continues through her cherished great-grandchildren: Bradley Lester (Kelly), Bailie Lester (Kelvin Franco), Madison Randle, Aiden Randle, Sidney Randle, Aubrey Weaver, Parker Weaver, and Koby Weaver. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Edith Osborne and niece, Louetta Peterman.

Wanda loved her family fiercely and devoted the majority of her life to caring for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her home was a place of warmth, love, and steady faith. She found great joy in sewing, coloring, tending to her flowers, and faithfully preparing lessons for her Sunday School classes.

A devoted member of North Sweetwater Baptist Church, Wanda loved her church family deeply. She faithfully served for many years and especially treasured her Sunday School classes. Her faith was the foundation of her life. In her own written wish for this obituary, she shared these words: "For everyone to keep Jesus in your heart and meet me in heaven."

Receiving friends will be held at Kyker Funeral Home in Sweetwater on Thursday February 12, 2026 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 p.m. in Kyker's Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Jackson and Rev. Bill Wilson officiating. A graveside service will be held at Murray's Chapel Cemetery on February 13 at 11:00 a.m.

Wanda's life was a testimony of love, service, and unwavering faith. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew her.
