Louise H. Davis, a longtime resident of Sweetwater, Tennessee, passed away leaving a legacy of faith, service, and devotion to her family and community.

Born on March 13, 1934, in Hermitage, Tennessee, Louise was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Sweetwater, where she served on various committees and as an Acteen leader, Vacation Bible School worker, and in the children's department.

Louise attended the University of Tennessee and was a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). She was a former member of the Tennessee Association of CPAs and the Rhea-Craig Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Louise retired from the Tennessee Valley Authority after many years of service and then volunteered at Sweetwater Area Ministries for 12 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Robert Talmage Davis; her parents, Emmett Guill and Nova Jenkins Hagar; her sisters, Lucille (Bill) Hall, Pauline (Obie Kelley/Hollis Wells), infant Lillian Roberta Hagar, Hilda (Frank) Barnes, Ruth (Lee Boner/Kyle Chapman), and Frances (Bob) Bruce; and her brothers, John (Mary), Judge Houston (Gloria/Peggy ), Henderson (Opal), William (Carmen), and Ewell (Viola) Hagar, all of Hermitage, TN; brothers-in-law, Archie Lin of Lake Worth, FL and Kenneth Davis of Hermitage, TN; son-in-law Hugh Standridge of Sweetwater, TN.

Louise is survived by her daughters, Tammy Davis Standridge of Clemmons, NC, and Dr. Cindy Davis (Tripp) Bunker of Lexington, North Carolina; granddaughter Alison Nicole (Jack) Pounds of Fredericksburg, Texas; grandsons Robert Kye (Katie) Bunker, Colin Tripp (Morgan) Bunker, and Carson Davis Bunker of North Carolina; great-granddaughters Maya Lee Bunker, Murphy Wren Bunker and Monroe Stone Bunker; brother-in-law Frank (Shirley) Davis of Murfreesboro, TN; sisters-in-law Betty Davis of Hermitage, TN, May Bell Lin of Lake Worth, Florida, and Peggy Hagar of Lebanon, TN; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at Kyker Funeral Home in Sweetwater, Tennessee, with Dr. Leonard Markham officiating. Burial will follow at Sweetwater Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to First Baptist Church, 303 Wright Street, Sweetwater, TN 37874.
