Roger Lance Touchstone

1950 - 2026

Roger Lance Touchstone, age 75, of the Everett Springs Community, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, February 14, 2026, following a brief illness.

Roger was born in Rome, Georgia on July 25, 1950, son of the late Weldon Touchstone and the late Ossie Cloud Touchstone. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Larry Touchstone, and his niece, Rita Coleman.

Roger graduated from Armuchee High School in 1968 and attended the University of Georgia. He lived in New York City for a few years before returning to Everett Springs in 1974. He worked in the family's grocery store and on their farm.

Survivors include his sister, Lila Touchstone; his sister-in-law, Barbara Touchstone; a nephew, Ben Touchstone; a great nephew, Steven Coleman; a great niece, Rachel Coleman; an aunt, Mary Cloud; a special friend and cousin, Jeff Miller; many cousins and friends also survive.

Graveside funeral service will be held on Friday, February 20, 2026, at 3pm at Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church Cemetery. Rev. Tim Galloway and Rev. Wayne Hopper will officiate.

The family will receive friends at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, North Chapel, on Thursday from 5 until 7pm.
