Roger Allen Vance, age 59, of Tahlequah, OK, passed away on Monday, September 9, 2024.
He was born October 1, 1965, in Walla Walla, Washington, to Victor Vance and Sarah Rabbit.
On March 28, 2010, in Chouteau, Oklahoma, Roger married Sheryl L. Mast. Roger and Sheryl lived in the Gideon community of Tahlequah, OK, Cherokee County. They together enjoyed years of Church, family, and friends. They loved dogs of all kinds and had a dozen or so. Roger loved to play the guitar and sing songs from the family songbook.
He was preceded in death by his wife Sheryl, his father Victor Vance, his nephew Chacye Vance, and son Coder Allen Vance.
He is survived by his son Johnathan Vance of Oregon; daughter Kourtney Raff of Arkansas; mother Sarah Kathleen Rabbit of Hulbert; brothers Brian Vance of Tahlequah and Ed Payne of Houston, TX; sisters Kimberly Jones of Hulbert, Marie Smith of Tahlequah, Lynn Stien of Arkansas, and Angela Johnston of Texas; along with many many other friends and family members.
