Roger Wayne Viverette

Roger Wayne Viverette, 63, passed away Thursday, November 9, 2023. He was born October 13, 1960 in Nash County to the late Johnnie and Esther Vick Viverette. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brother, Benjamin "Tennie" Viverette; sister, Annette Macklin; cousins, Bobby and Wayne Land.
He leaves to cherish his memory, one brother, Jerry Viverette; nephew, James Macklin; cousins, Glenn Land ( mama Christie), Derl Land (Kourtney), Greg and Johnny Land (Argie).
Although Roger didn't have children, he helped raise many children in the family and the community including, Trevor Land (Sydney), Tristan Winstead, Miss Camille and Miss Courtney Narron; and his namesake, Nathan Roger Land.
A graveside service will be held Monday, November 13, 2023 at 2:00pm with James Macklin officiating at the Land Family Cemetery, 6446 Land Road Nashville, NC.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to ECU Health Service League of Greenville Inpatient Hospice c/o Vidant Health Foundation 690 Medical Drive, Greenville NC 27823.
The family would like to thank the staff of ECU Health Greenville and Washington NC for the excellent care that Roger was provided over the last year.
