Roger Alan Warriner, born on April 26, 1961, in Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on November 6, 2025, in the same city. A dedicated family man and a cherished friend, Roger's life was marked by his unwavering love for those around him and his infectious spirit.
Throughout his career, Roger worked as a roofer for the majority of his life, transitioning in his later years to the role of a framer. His industriousness and commitment to his work were well known among his peers and contributed greatly to his reputation in the community.
Roger was a man who never met a stranger; his warm personality and fun-loving nature endeared him to everyone who crossed his path. He was characterized by his energy and generosity, creating lasting memories with those fortunate enough to know him. He loved spending time playing cards and darts, often in the company of friends gathered in the bar room of his home—a sanctuary of laughter and camaraderie. Above all, Roger cherished the moments spent with his family, especially his grandchildren, and his profound love for them was evident in everything he did.
He is survived by his children, Nicole (Brent Wallace) Warriner, Crystal Biggs, and Nicole Hummel, Kelsie (Candace) Biggs III; his life partner, Tammie Hall; along with his grandchildren, including ; Mckiyla, Curtis, and Kayden Kimbrough; Maliyah and Christopher Burhannon; McKaya Arthur; Layonah and Landon Munden; Kelsie IV, Kaidence Biggs; and Rylah and Royce Lewis. Additionally, he will be lovingly remembered by his great-grandchildren, Meziah Kimbrough and Avaniah Burhannon. Roger is also survived by his siblings, Phillip Warriner, Ethel Case, and Edie Padgett, his mother, Georgia (Mann) Hamby, his niece, Angela Mcginley, several nephews and nieces, and his beloved dog, Margaret.
Roger was preceded in death by his father, Eldridge Dale Warriner, and siblings Stella Morelock and Floyd Warriner, as well as his nephew, Stanley "Pooner" Morelock. He is also mourned by his nieces, Christina Hammond, Courtney Hammond, and Cassie Warriner.
In honor of Roger's life, a funeral service will be held Friday, November 14 at 6 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home located at 925 East Hanna Avenue Indianapolis, Indiana 46227. Friends may gather for visitation from 2 pm until the time of the service.
Roger Alan Warriner's vibrant spirit and warm heart will be profoundly missed by all who knew him. His legacy of love, laughter, and friendship will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
