Roger Dale Willocks Sr., 64, of Mount Holly, passed away with his family by his side at CaroMont Regional Medical Center, Sunday, December 1, 2024.
He was born on November 16, 1960, in Charlotte, North Carolina to the late Eugene Willocks and Juanita Harris.
In addition to his father and mother, he was preceded in death by his brother Randy Willocks.
Roger retired after 30+ years from American & Efird plant, and went back to working part time at the American & Efird plant until death. Roger enjoyed riding his Harley on his time off with son, Roger and friends.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Sue Lampton-Willocks; son, Roger Willocks Jr., and wife, Beth Willocks; stepson, Sean Lampton, and wife, Christianie Dor-Lampton; grandchildren, Cameron Stone, Felicity Willocks, Jocelyn Dor-Lampton, and Baby Lampton; his sister, Sarah Diane McClure; and nephews, Sherman McClure and Jason McClure.
The family will have visitation from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., Saturday, December 7, 2024, at McAdenville Baptist Church located at 192 Main Street, McAdenville, NC. Everyone is to park in the back of the church and enter through the basement door.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to a charity of ones choice in honor of Roger.
