Roger William Wirth

Roger William Wirth, 61 years of Ida, MI, died Wednesday August 21, 2024, in his home under the care of Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Cremation has occurred. A Memorial gathering will take place on Monday September 9, 2024, from 4PM until the services at 6:30PM at East Ida Immanuel Lutheran Church, Monroe, MI.
Born November 16, 1962, in Detroit, MI. Roger was the son of Kenneth and Mary (Degrouchy) Wirth. He graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a bachelor's degree in accounting. He married Kim Kaus on May 23, 1998, in Trenton, MI. Roger was an internal material logistic manager for Chrysler for 8 yrs. He was a member of East Ida Immanuel Lutheran Church, Monroe, MI, and an executive board member of Christmas in Ida. Roger was a big foodie and enjoyed trying new restaurants and recipes. His biggest joy was watching his daughters succeed at all they did, loved being involved in showing dogs and supporting rescue of both dogs and cats. He considered eating Haagen-Dazs ice cream one of his sinful pleasures. You would also find him watching news channels or the game show network.
Survivors include: his wife, Kim; daughters, Katherine (Brandon) Hirn, Elizabeth Wirth; siblings, David (Charlotte) Wirth, Ellen Lysik. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Sharon Wirth Laurents and brother-in-law, Norbert Lysik.
