Roland Coulombe Obituary

Roland P. Coulombe passed peacefully at home on August 6th, 2025 at the age of 85. Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1940 to Edward and Helen Coulombe, he moved with his family to West Sacramento in 1947. Roland served in the USAF Reserves and retired from the State of California after a 40-year career with the Board of Equalization, both in the field of communications. Roland resided in the City of Sacramento at the time of his death. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Sandy, his parents, and his sister Marie Nelson. He is survived by his brother, Marlin Coulombe of West Sacramento, son Mark and Daughter-in-law Barbara of Folsom, son Matthew and Daughter-in-law Heidi of Sacramento, Daughter Michele of Elk Grove, and Daughter Doreen of Grass Valley. Roland had Grandchildren Alexandria, Madeline, Juliana, Jason, Olivia, Corissa, Colby, Ruben, and Great Grandchildren Macie, Isla and Giada.

A celebration of life gathering will be held at Noon, Thursday, August 28th, 2025 at the VFW Post 8762 at 905 Drever Street, West Sacramento, California. In lieu of flowers, any donations can be made to the American Lung Association.
