My dear classmate and friend. What a ride we had at Dear Ole Polkton High school in Anson County NC where everyone was so excited and happy to be with each other and couldn't wait for school to start again each year. You were one of the smartest and selfless person one could ever have. Being an only child and the son of our principal and our second grade teacher, you always stayed humble. You were loved and respected based on your own character and moral. After our high school days, we remained friends till you left us to be with the Lord and reunited with your parents.
Bernard, you will be missed and at our next school reunion, we will honor your achievements as a leader and well-respected student at your Alma Mater. Rest peacefully in your new home in heaven with your parents and your Lord, Jesus Christ!
Your classmate and friend, Loretta Crowder Stanley of Charlotte NC.
