Romer passed away at the age of 63 on September 27, 2025, in Odessa, TX, at Medical Center Hospital.
Viewing will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Thursday, October 2, 2025, at the Sevent-day Adventist Church in Odessa.
Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at the Seventh-day Adventist Church, officiated by Pastor Abner Razon.
Romer was born in Paniqui, Tarlac, to Rodolfo Carrasco Ongsico and Mercedes Buzon Vigo on October 11th, 1961. He went to school in Paniqui, Tarlac. He married Jovita Guillermo on January 22, 1994, in Kamuning United Methodist Church, Quezon City, Philippines.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of the East, Santa Cruz, Manila.
He worked in the beginning as a Plastic Resin Material Handler, then rose to the top as Technical Service Division Manager for Plastimer Industrial Corporation in Valenzuela City, Philippines. He was employed at Plastimer for 31 years.
Romer is survived by his wife, Jovi; and his only child, Jan Rani; his brother, Manuel and Rodolfo Jr; his sister, Winnifreda, Fleurdeliza, Maria Cristina, and Josephine.
Romer’s passion was to Travel and was an expert at flying internationally. His interests were electronics and learning about their functionality. His favorite hobbies are watching movies and playing Sudoku.
His favorite family memories were all where they gathered whether it’s just a simple get together in Bilando or for family occasions. More than anything he loved being surrounded by his family. He also loves to travel to new places with his family such as when he visited a few states and even Canada by long driving with his wife and daughter.
His Greatest life lesson is staying connected to the word of God, always being a helping hand, and supporting through emotions.
