Ron Ahrens Obituary

Ron was baptized and confirmed at the Centennial Lutheran Church in Superior, Nebraska. He was a 1979 graduate of Superior High School. He worked throughout his life at KRFS Radio Station, Follmer Construction, Saathoff Construction, the VFW, the Eagles and the Elks in Superior and currently Livingston Enterprises in Fairbury, Nebraska. Ron had a love for music and enjoyed sharing it with his family and friends, playing guitar and singing some of his favorite songs. In recent years he formed the bands the "The Jaguars," "Andy Jones Buffalo Gals" and "Bad Roosters" with some of his close friends.
Ron is survived by his parents, Robert and Arlene Ahrens of Superior, Nebraska, daughters, Skyeler and Alyson Ahrens of Lincoln, Nebraska and Jade Ahrens of Superior, Nebraska. Six grandchildren Chloe, Finn, Kirra, Shon, Nikko and Noah. He is also survived by his siblings, Yvonne Bailey (Tom) of North Platte, Nebraska, Richard Ahrens (Sharlot) of Olathe, Kansas and Betty Bouray (Kent) of Republic, Kansas along with numerous nieces, nephews and many, many friends.
Memorial services were held on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at 10:30 am from the Megrue-Price Funeral Home in Superior, Nebraska with Rev. Robert Hopkins officiating.
Honorary Pallbearers are friends of Ron.
Inurnment in the Salem Lutheran Cemetery at Superior, Ne.
Memorials are suggested to go to the family.
