Ron Gooch Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Leavitt's Mortuary & Aultorest Memorial Park from Jan. 22 to Jan. 23, 2021.
Ron Gooch, age 77, died on Friday, January 8, 2021 at the Riverside University Health System Medical Center.

Ron was born on November 19, 1943, in Ogden, Weber, Utah to George Owen Gooch and Carol Ina Wintle.

Ron was married/sealed for time and all eternity to Karen Chatwin on August 15, 1943.

Ron was a loving and devoted husband and a loving and caring father. His family was most important to him and he would do anything for his wife and children.

Ron was loved by everyone and will be missed by many.

Ron is survived by his wife, Karen, daughters; DeeAnn Hansen, Rhonda Hamilton, Wendy Aguero, and sons; Ronald Terry Gooch and Kevin James Gooch. He was blessed with 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Ron loved working hard as a Locksmith. He loved to play softball, volleyball, and basketball. He enjoyed camping and deer hunting. He loved taking his family and joining other family members and friends motorcycle riding and later sitting around a campfire chatting about the day's activities. He also loved going to family and school reunions.

Most of all he had a laugh that would brighten your day. Ron will truly be missed. Heaven will be a brighter and a more fun place to be now that Ron is there.

A Viewing will be held Saturday, January 23, 2021, from 12:30 – 2:00 p.m. at Leavitt's Mortuary 836 36th Street followed by a private gathering for his Celebration of Life.
