Lundberg Funeral HomeRonald K. Anderson, age 60, of Cannon Falls, died on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at his home, following a seven-month battle with cancer.
Ronald was born on July 10, 1965, in South St. Paul, the son of Kenneth and Mary (Murphy) Anderson. He grew up in Cottage Grove, and graduated from Park High School. Following school, he enlisted in the U.S. Army, serving as a paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne, from 1984-1987. Ron was united in marriage to Antonia “Toni” Reiter in Zumbrota. He worked various jobs in and around St. Paul, and at the time of his death he was employed at Sweet Harvest Foods in Cannon Falls, as a honey bottler. They were members of St. Ansgar’s Lutheran Church in Cannon Falls. Ron was well known as an amateur magician. Other interests he had were collecting music, movies, and he enjoyed reading.
Survivors include his wife Antonia, his father Kenneth, brothers Ken (Patty) Anderson and Randall (Roxanna) Anderson, special cousins Rick Wilcox and Brenda Wilcox, and special friends Mary and Pete; as well as nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his pets Cooper, Tracie, Olivia, and Petey. He was preceded in death by his mother Mary, his sister Lori Heller, hhis mother-in-law Alice Aiello Vedovati, his grandparents, and his beloved dog Spencer.
Special thanks to the oncology department at the VA Medical Center in Minneapolis, St. Croix Hospice, Pastor Paul Graham, and Chaplin Gwen.
Memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society or the Disabled American Veterans.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, November 1, 2025, at St. Ansgar’s Lutheran Church, 7459 Hwy 19 Blvd, Cannon Falls, MN 55009. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service at St. Ansgar’s. Online condolences are welcome at www.lundbergfuneral.com.
