Ronald Eugene Bailey, Sr., 86, of Morganton, passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at Mission Hospital McDowell.
He was born in Parkersburg, West Virginia on June 28, 1939 to the late Robert Bailey and Florence Allen Bailey.
Known as a hard-working man, he retired after working many years as a welder. He embodied the values of dedication, strength, and perseverance through his actions each day. Mr. Bailey loved all of his family immensely, and he held a special place in his heart for his grandchildren. The pride he had for his family was undeniable, and his legacy will live on through all the lives he touched. All that had the privilege of knowing him are better because he was in their lives.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah Stoke Bailey; four children, Ronnie Eugene Bailey, Jr. (Rebecca), Lisa Eaton (Eugene), Jennifer Science, and Tiffanie Bailey; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and two siblings, Janet Waggoner and Rick Bailey (Kim).
Funeral services will be held in Belpre, Ohio and will be under the direction of Leavitt Funeral Services.
