Mr. Calvin Bailey Sr. of Warner Robins, GA, was born September 12,1953, to the late Vette T. Crane Jr. and Mrs. Mary Green Bailey, in Pinehurst, GA, where he later attended and graduated from Vienna High School.
After growing up in Pinehurst, GA and graduating high school in June of 1972, he went on to begin his career and live a fulfilling life. His employment included Unadilla Manufacturing Co. (machinist), Griggs Farm (farmer) and Days Inn (attendant). He would later enlist in the United States Army in August 1981, serving with the 421st QM Co. of Fort Valley, GA. After serving in Saudi Arabia in 1991, he went on to serve in the United States Air Force Reserve with the 622nd MPF. While serving, Calvin Bailey Sr. also worked with and retired from The Boeing Company (1992-2014).
Honors earned while serving were Army Service Ribbons, Army Reserve Components Achievement Medal, NCO Professional Development Ribbon w/ Num 2/ Army Reserve Component Overseas Training Ribbon w/ Num 3/ National Defense, Service Medal, Marksmanship Badge Rifle, M-1G/ Driver and Mechanic Badge/ Army Lapel Button.His tenure completed after twenty-two successful years of service.
Mr. Calvin Bailey Sr. departed this life peacefully on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at his home in Warner Robins, GA, with his, caring and loving, wife Debbie at his side. He was also preceded in death by his sisters and brother; Ernestine Glenn, Mrs. Christine Bostick, Mrs. Faye Robinson and Willie Clarence “Albert” Bailey. Half-sisters and brother; Christine Crane, Beatrice Shazer and Alvin Crane.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife; Deborah Butler-Bailey, sons; Calvin Bailey Jr. (Juron), Henri A. West (Debbie), David P. West. Daughter; Briana LaShea Bailey. Stepdaughters; Antoria C. Morris, Christina E. Gumbs (Travis), Breanna L. Morris and Keiaundria Jordan (Chris). Grandchildren; Taleisha C. Chambers (Deo), Teaujah Z. Bailey, Jamari J. Whitehead and Kynslee F. Johnson. Great-grandchildren; Kameron Z. Scott, Kaleb Z. Bailey, and DeAngelo M. Chambers Jr. Brothers and sisters; Mrs. Thelma Martin, Mr. James Bailey, Mr. Wilbert Clark (Loretta), Mr. Freddie Malcolm. Half-brothers and sisters; Leila Ecford (Melvin), Rufus Crane (Amanda), Vette T. Crane III, Israel Crane, Geraldine Holley, Willis Ray Crane (LaChandra), Linda Faye Horsey(Dwight), Marion Leonard, Gandy Gary.
Many additional nieces, nephews, family members, loved ones and a host of friends.

Visitation will be on Thursday, January 29, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 30, 2026, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Afterward, Calvin will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
