Greensboro, North Carolina - With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Ronald Barbee, Attorney at Law, of Greensboro, NC, who departed this life on April 3, 2025, at the age of 87. Born on May 11, 1937, Ronald was known for their distinguished career in law and steadfast dedication to their community.
A graveside service in Ronald's honor will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Beechwood Cemetery in Durham, North Carolina.
Ronald is lovingly remembered by their wife, Alice M. Barbee; their daughter, Stephanie Barbee Williams; three cherished grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Their presence will be deeply missed by family members, friends, colleagues, and all who had the privilege of knowing them.

Alice, Stephanie and family, I have known Ron many years going back when he was a judge. Ron was the attorney for the NC A&T University Foundation Inc. and was admired and respected by the board of directors and staff. I met Mr. Barbee a few years ago while working with the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference. When we moved into the Southeastern Building in downtown Greensboro, I was introduced to Ronald and we shared a very good relationship...especially because of Durham, NC. I offer my condolences to the family.
