Ronald Benoit Obituary
Abbeville- A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at Vincent Funeral Home from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm honoring the life of Ronald "Shoo" James Benoit, age 65, who passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2025 in Abbeville.
Shoo was born on May 31, 1959 in Abbeville, where he was a lifelong resident. He spent most of his life as a pipefitter / welder in the oilfield industry. When he was not working, you might find Shoo going saltwater fishing or riding on his Harley Davidson motorcycle. What he really enjoyed the most, however, was spending time with his family and loved ones. Shoo will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his loving wife of over 46 years, Linda Benoit; his children, Beau Benoit (Erin) of Abbeville and Jacob Benoit (Shameka) of Abbeville; his grandchild, Kasen Benoit of Abbeville; and his mother, Eve Baudoin (Norris) of Abbeville.
He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Benoit; as well as his brother, Chris Baudoin.
