Yvonne Baudoin Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Louisiana Funeral Services & Crematory - Broussard on Jan. 26, 2026.
Yvonne Marie Frederick Baudoin born on February 28, 1939, passed away on January 18, 2026, at the age of 86 years old.

She is survived by her children, Anna Baudoin, Luke Baudoin (Keith), Joe Baudoin (Tessia); her grandchildren, Nick, Joshua, Chris, Tracy, TJ, Taylor, Cory, and Laci Jo; great-grandchildren, Eisele, Eliza, Emelia, Avery, and Oliver; and her sister, Shirley Delhomme (Willis).

She has now been reunited with her husband of 63 years, John Lee Baudoin; her children, John "Pookie" Baudoin, Travis Baudoin; her great-granddaughter, Khloe Boudreaux; siblings, Barbara Beadle (Clayton), Doug Frederick (Thor), Sidney Frederick (Peggy), and Leonard "Poncho" Frederick (Judy); and her parents, Anna Thibodeaux Frederick and Sidney J. Frederick.

Yvonne enjoyed life with a lively spirit. She looked forward to Sunday dinners surrounded by friends and family. She enjoyed cooking for those she loved and passed down that legacy to her children. Sundays weren't just for food but for Football, and Yvonne loved football, an avid fan of the San Francisco 49ers, and Alabama Crimson Tide, despite all of the heat she got for it. In her free time, she enjoyed the risk and thrill of betting, playing cards, the casino. Growing up, she spent many years at Evangeline Down with her father attending horse races and playing cards at her grandmother's house in Abbeville. She enjoyed many trips with her friends and family, taking cruises and trips to Las Vegas. It wasn't always about the thrill of a good bet; she also enjoyed the simple things in life. Before the passing of her husband in 2020, they often spent their time fishing and taking camping trips together.

The family sends their heartfelt gratitude to everyone, including Bridgeway Hospice, for the care and compassion shown to her in her time of need and during her final days.

Yvonne and Mr. John will be placed together in their final resting place at a later date.
