Anthony Benoit

Anthony G. Benoit, 60, of Norwich, passed away unexpectedly, January 11, 2026. He was 1 of 10 children born to Edward and Tomasa Benoit.

Anthony is survived by his children, Brooke (Michael) Sutherland, Dylan (Hannah) Benoit, and Connor Benoit.

Tony also known as Big T was larger than life, he had a personality that would spark your wonder and curiosity. He was always coming up with new ideas and inventions while he was on the road to see friends and family. His laugh would fill rooms and he would do a lot of silly things just to make someone smile. As a child I can remember tickle fights, food fights with all of us kids, and there was always a prank hiding around the corner. My father liked his coffee from Dunkin, his order was simple, a large hot regular light and sweet with a donut if he wanted. Enjoying a coffee with the sunrise was one of those things he held close and loved doing and we loved doing it with him. A lot of things my dad enjoyed were simple, good music, friends and family close by, and a hot meal were all he needed to be happy. I hope we can all remember him in the moments that matter, time with your kids, a hot coffee with a view, or just being able to sit and talk to those you love.
