Ronald K. "Blackie" Black, 62, of Lebanon, passed away on Friday, August 8, 2025, at his home. He was the husband of Leaetta A. "Lolly" (Root) Black. Born in Hackensack, NJ on July 28, 1963, he was the son of Rhoderick D. and Kay A. (Bender) Black. He was a graduate of the Northern Lebanon High School Class of 1982. Following high school, he served in the U.S. Air Force. He had worked as a printer. Blackie enjoyed hunting, camping, gardening, working outside, slot machines, his Sega, and singing karaoke. He was well known for Blackie's Barbeque Chicken. In addition to his wife and his parents, he is survived by his children: Jamie L. Clark of York, Michael R. Clark of Annville, Robert M. Clark of Annville and Daniel L. husband of Kelley Clark of Annville; brother Robert (Teresa) Black of Lebanon; and twelve grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother Andrew J. Black. Graveside services with military honors will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, August 15, 2025, at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. A procession will be leaving at 2:30 p.m. from the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Jonestown.

Ronald, you have made your final flight into the wild blue yonder´s. You are now relieved from your post. A job well done fellow veteran. America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom. The final volley has sounded and taps is about to begin, ending a successful career as a nation´s defender. Have a smooth flight airman.
