Ronald Botelho, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2024, in Brentwood, California, at the age of 92. Born in Oakland on November 26, 1932, Ronald lived a full and vibrant life, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter.
Before retirement, Ronald dedicated his career to the sheet-metal trade, showcasing his incredible work ethic and craftsmanship. He was a devoted family man, married to his beloved wife, Iris, for 64 years. Ron was a loving father, preceded in death by his son Fred Botelho. He is survived by his children Ron Botelho, Ronda Franta, and Rick Botelho, who will forever cherish the values he instilled in them. He also leaves behind his one sister Pam.
Ronald was the proud grandfather of ten grandchildren: Nathan, Reno, Danielle, Holly, Shelby, Sydney, Zach, Cody, Drake, and Johnny, as well as three great-grandchildren, Chloe, Zaevin, and Parker. He took immense joy in his family, always keeping busy with their activities and milestones.
A man of many passions, Ronald enjoyed sports, particularly baseball, and played senior softball in Manteca for several years. He had a youthful spirit, enjoying building things and working on cars. His sense of humor and engaging personality made him a friend to all; he never met a stranger and was loved by everyone who crossed his path.
