Ronald Bradshaw

Ronald Eugene Bradshaw of Topeka, Kansas, passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at the age of 80.
Ron was born in 1942 to Ernest Bradshaw and Cleta Havely Bradshaw in Walnut, Kansas. He was the fourth oldest of 14 children. He married Janice Billinger in 1962 and together they had two daughters, Aimee and Ronda. Ron was engaged in 2005 to Elizabeth Ostrom (mother of Chris, Brian, Joey and Shannon), who preceded him in death.
Ron worked in construction for most of his life, spending the majority of his career as a construction superintendent. During his career, Ron oversaw over 68 projects with a total value of over 321 million dollars. His construction legacy can be found throughout Topeka and the State of Kansas, with projects such as universities, schools, banks, apartments, churches, commercial office buildings, and many others.
Ron enjoyed hunting, sporting clays, drag racing and working on many projects in his shop. He was always helping others pouring a driveway for a friend, working on someone's car, even giving someone a job. He worked hard and played hard, leaving many great stories behind.
Ron is survived by four brothers and four sisters, his children, Aimee Eickmann (Bruce), Ronda Brown (Bruce), Christopher Matal (Tejay), Brian Matal (Shannon Bessette) and Shannon Ramos (John C.); grandchildren, Dustin Collins (Mariah Creollo), Rachel, Ella and Claire Brown, Joseph Bradshaw, Allison Matal and Selena Ramos; great-grandchild, Bedelia Rae Collins. Joey Matal preceded Ron and Beth in death.
Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home, 2801 SW Urish Road, Topeka KS 66614. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, September 22, 2022, at the funeral home. Burial to follow at West Lawn Memorial Gardens.
