Ronald "Randy" Breshears, 81, of
Clinton, Missouri passed away on Monday, December 15, 2025 at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in
Clinton, Missouri. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, December 19, 2025 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel in
Clinton, Missouri with visitation from 1:00-2:00 PM prior to the service. Burial will follow in Englewood Cemetery,
Clinton, Missouri. Memorial contributions can be made to the Clinton High School Ball Field (make checks payable to the Clinton Education Foundation) and may be left in care of the funeral home.
Ronald "Randy" Breshears was born on February 16, 1944 in Iconium, Missouri the son of Dinver Breshears and Mildred (Dietz) Breshears. Randy lived in
Clinton, Missouri his entire life. He met and married the love of his life Annabell Southers on September 26, 1964 in Branson, Missouri. They were blessed with four children and recently celebrated 61 years together.
Randy made his living as a truck driver beginning his career at Clearfield Cheese being one of the youngest drivers the company ever hired. Throughout his life he also worked for Burton Trucking and Briggs and Tillman before ending his career with Brown Brothers Construction in Kansas City retiring in 2009 as a member of Teamsters Local 541.
He loved spending time with his family and adored his grandchildren. You could always find him at a ballfield. No matter the weather he was on the front row bleacher cheering on his grandsons' sports teams – baseball being his favorite sport. He never met a stranger and could tell the best stories remembering every detail even from decades ago. In his younger years he enjoyed a good Nascar race traveling around the country with friends attending races at different tracks, Bristol and Charlotte being among his favorites. Randy was a member of the Eagles and Elks Clubs.
Preceding him in death are his parents Dinver and Mildred Breshears, his brothers – Harold Breshears, Jimmie Breshears, Donnie Breshears and Lonnie Breshears, and brother-in-law – Jim Rens.
Survivors include his wife, Annabell Breshears, his children; Lore Wendel, Ronna (David) Howard, Waylon (Lori) Breshears, and Donna (Jacob) Hann, his sister, Louise Rens, Sister-in-laws; Wanda Breshears, Christine Breshears, and Donna Breshears, 12 grandchildren; Cody Wendel, Paige (Dalton) Blankenship, Parker Howard, Trevor (Ashley) Breshears, Colton (Alisha) Breshears, Tyson (Allyson) Breshears, Grace Breshears, Jack English, Charlotte English, Will English, Mason (Krisha) Hann, Alex Hann, 5 great-grandchildren; Remington Breshears, Damon Breshears, Daphne Blakenship, Lincoln Breshears, Daxter Breshears and soon to be baby boy Blankenship, along with many nieces and nephews.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home in
