Ronald Brooks was reunited with his beloved wife Janet of 51 years of marriage on September 29, 2025. He was born on March 3, 1944, in Springfield, MO at Burge Hospital. Ron graduated in '62 from Ozark High. He worked for Ramey's/Price Cutter as a meat cutter/meat manager for 44 years until his retirement in 2007. While working at Ramey's, he met the love of his life, Janet. The couple were united in marriage on February 1, 1966, and have two sons, Tim and Darell.

He proudly served his country in the army as a military policeman along beside his service dog "King". He was honorably discharged from the service to return back to Ramey's. Ron accepted Christ as his savior and was baptized in 1970. He was ordained as a deacon in 1973, faithfully serving the Lord at Robberson Prairie Baptist church. He enjoyed being around family and friends. He was always willing to help anyone in need. He also enjoyed gardening.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Davied and Nettie, wife Janet, brother David, sister-in-law Joyce, and nephew Jeff.

He is survived by his two sons: Tim, and Darell (Kim); 2 grandsons: Matt (Liz), and Eric; 1 granddaughter: Abbey (Lydia); sister-in-law: Pat (Don); 4 nieces: Pam (Phillip), Trisha (Bobby), Tami (Rob), and Tara (Ryan).

Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 2, 2025, with the funeral following at 11:00 a.m. at Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
