Ronald Brownlee Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Rone Funeral Service - Vineland on May 1, 2022.
Ronald Keith Brownlee, Sr. 61, of Buena Vista Township, passed away unexpectedly on April 27, at home. Born at Fort Dix Army Hospital in Pemberton NJ, to the late Clarence and Alice (DiMatteo) Brownlee, Ron was the youngest of six children. He began his professional career with Prudential Insurance Company from 1985-1995, transitioning to the financial industry in various banks & investment companies, spanning over 35 years. In 2011, he opened his own firm, RKB Wealth Management, LTD, powered by LPL Financial. Ron was extremely devoted to his profession and received countless prestigious awards, throughout his entire professional career. He was especially proud of his recognition as Top Financial Advisor in 2015 with LPL Financial and received many outstanding Client Service Awards from 2013 to the present. More importantly, he possessed every virtuous trait, which allowed people to trust and respect him.
Ron was civic-minded and concerned for the greater good of his community. He was a member of The Greater Vineland Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club of Tri-County. Ron was also a proud supporter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and other charities. His hobbies included fishing, playing golf, and enjoying having birds eat out of his hand in the backyard. He was a huge audiophile and car enthusiast. Ron was a big fan of the Flyers, Eagles, Sixers, and Phillies teams.
Ron leaves behind to cherish his memory, wife of six years, Diana (Cappellari) Brownlee, a son Kenneth A. Brownlee, brothers James/Jimmy Brownlee (Scott), Ralph Brownlee (Maryann), Clarence Skip (Joyce) Brownlee, sister Cheryl Brownlee (Joe), many nieces and nephews, along with his friend, business associate and work son, Nicholas S. Bernhardt, whom Ron mentored. Along with his parents Ron is predeceased by his son Ronald Brownlee Jr. and brother Robert Brownlee.
Ron was a survivor of bladder cancer, with the help of Dr. Thomas Guzzo and his team, including Ave Maria and Liza from UPenn, as well as the nurses, near and far, who cared for him. LPL Financial and PAG Group expressed their concern and positivity, creating the hashtag, #staystRONg. Ron will be sorely missed by his many clients, some of which were very dear friends. We will all deeply miss Ron's infectious smile, outgoing personality, positivity, and humor. He will forever be in our hearts.
A church visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at Christ the Good Shepherd Parish, the Church of St. Isidore the Farmer 1655 Magnolia Road, Vineland from 9:45 to 11:45am, followed by Ronald's funeral mass at 12:00 noon. Internment will take place at Sacred Heart Cemetery, 741 E. Walnut Rd. Vineland. Donations, if so desired, may be made in his memory to The American Bladder Cancer Society (for bladder cancer research), 12 Flansburg Ave., Dalton, MA 01226 or The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, P.O. Box 22470, New York, NY 10087-2470.
