Ronald D. Bunn

Ronald D. Bunn, age 78, of Griffin, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at his home.

Ronald was born in Griffin, Georgia on December 28, 1946. His parents, Charlie Richard Bunn and Florence Coates Bunn, daughter, Tina Busbee Sims, and brothers, Richard MacArthur Bunn and Kerry R. Bunn, Sr., all preceded him in death. Ronald was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard, having served in the Vietnam War. He was a retired over-the-road truck driver, was a composer and musician, and was currently working for Spalding County. Ronald's first love was being a private music teacher for over 25 years, passing his love of music on to others.

Survivors include his loving wife of 53 years, Sherry Crane Bunn; beloved daughters, Teri Busbee Loper and husband Daniel, and Roni Bunn Goodman and husband Mitchell; grandchildren, Kelli Goolsby, April Speer, James Molton, Robin Goodman, Nathaniel Loper, Mitch Goodman, Michaelyn Loper, Gabriel Loper, and Ezekiel Loper; several great-grandchildren; and many other dear family and friends.

Visitation will be on Sunday, November 9, 2025, from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home, followed by a service in the chapel. Pastor Mike Pendleton will officiate. Interment will be at Oak Hill Cemetery, Veteran's Section.
