Obituary of Ronald Morris Burnham
Ron Burnham was born in Bremerton, Washington on June 24, 1944 to Mark and Nettie Burnham. He grew up in Meridian, Idaho, sharing many adventures with his older brother Dale and an abundance of friends who were like family. After serving in the Army, at 23 he found Jesus, who became the focus of his life. He married Kathy and together they had two children, Dallas and Darla. Ron pursued various endeavors, including pastoring, working in construction, and owning a doggy daycare, where he developed friendships with many.
Ron's son married Becky, and they blessed him with two cherished grandchildren. Renowned for his extraordinary ability to recall names, Ron made everyone feel loved and cherished. He was an avid hunter, relished competition, and was known for both his strength and his remarkable capacity for consuming food. Ron fostered close relationships within his church community and formed deep friendships wherever he went, whether at the local store, on the racquetball court, or during his final year on the pickleball court. Ron was deeply loved for the care and attention he showed to others, and his ability to forge connections with people from all walks of life, reflecting the warmth and openness of his character.
Ron Loved his family and friends, old and new and made a positive impact on countless lives. His dedication to serving others and spreading the love of Jesus was evident in all he did. His legacy lives on through his family, friends, and the countless lives he touched. Above all, he was passionate about deepening his relationship with Jesus and was driven by the desire for everyone to experience the love and acceptance of their creator. He will be missed greatly by all who knew him but not without hope, for we shall meet again.
