It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ronald (Ronnie) Lee Campbell on July 20, 2025, age 61. Ronnie lived his life fiercely independent and unapologetic always staying true to his inner light.

Ronnie was born in Tokyo, Japan in August 1963. Growing up in a military family provided a childhood filled with world travel. At age 10, he worked in a local gift store in Madrid, Spain. This was the start of a great variety of work including jobs in restaurant, sanitation, healthcare, and roof repair. Ronnie worked very hard to support his family but his true passion was the art of the deal. Ronnie loved to trade, barter, swap, buy, and sell. He was particularly good at finding discarded gems, restoring them to former glory, and selling for a profit. In many ways he was like the classic cars he loved to restore - a little rough on the exterior but truly sweet and caring.

In later years, Ronnie loved spending time with his grandchildren serving as chauffeur in chief delivering kids for school, softball practice, forgotten homework, missing shoes, and anything else in between. He loved spending time with his grandchildren before and after school doling out life lessons they don't teach in school.

Ronnie is survived by his father Lee Campbell, stepmother Debra Hall Marlett-Campbell, sister Bobbie Jo Harris, brother Gregory Campbell and his wife Marla, brother Steve Campbell, son Jeff Campbell and his wife Mindy, daughter Brandi Rust and her partner Sean Day, and grandchildren Kyleigh, Kristine, Zyriah, Korey, Skylar, and Lana.

Ronnie was predeceased by his mother Noreen Campbell, brother Jeffrey Campbell, and grandparents George and Leigh French, Jack and Delphine Campbell.

Ronnie enjoyed nothing more than hanging out with friends and family, cold beer in hand, talking about all the great things life had to offer. He will be greatly missed.

Celebration of Life will be held at Henry Hudson's, Saturday July 26 at 8pm, 400 W I-240 Service Road, Oklahoma City.
