Ronald E. Case

Ronald E. Case, age 83, of Troy, passed away on January 29, 2026. Ron was born January 29, 1943, in Catskill, New York. He later lived in Windham, New York.

Ron earned his master's degree from the State University of New York at Albany and graduated from the American Institute for Foreign Trade in Phoenix, Arizona. He was an accredited chef and possessed many other artistic talents. Ron was also an avid volunteer, generously giving his time and skills to numerous organizations. He was an active member of Toastmasters, participated in spinning and weaving at the Pioneer Museum, volunteered with Empty Bowls, and supported the bookstore at the Troy Public Library.

Ron was predeceased by his parents, Ruth Keller and Ray Case, and by his stepson Kevin Boyce Walker.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia Case; his brother Roger Case; his stepson, Keith Bowden Walker; his stepdaughter, Karyn Beth Walker and his two grandchildren Morgan and Katelyn Penn.

Ron donated his remains to the University of South Alabama at Mobile. In accordance with his wishes, there will be no funeral or memorial service.

Ron was devoted husband and beloved father who will be deeply missed.
