Ronald Chruszczyk Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by McCauley-Sullivan Funeral Home & Crematorium on Dec. 17, 2025.
Ronald Chruszczyk passed away surrounded by the love of his family, leaving behind a legacy of devotion, service, and kindness that will forever be remembered by those who knew and loved him.

Ronald was a devoted and loving husband to his beloved wife, Linda Chruszczyk, with whom

he shared a lifetime of love, partnership, and cherished memories. He was a proud and caring father to Charles Chruszczyk (Kerry), Timothy Chruszczyk (Tina), Donna Allgood (Scott), and

Kathy Dinnsen (John).

Nothing brought Ronald greater joy than his family, and he took immense pride in each of his children.

He was a treasured grandfather to Steven, Samantha, Claire, Christopher, Jacob, Mary,

Brianna, Riley, Xander, Kaitlyn, Lauren, Kayli, and Ryan, all of whom brought light and

laughter into his life.

His love, guidance, and gentle presence will live on through them.

Ronald was preceded in death by his sister, Rita Vasica, and his brothers, Stanley Chruszczyk

and Richard Chruszczyk.

A man of deep integrity and dedication, Ronald honorably served his country as a Vietnam veteran, a chapter of his life he carried with quiet strength and pride. He continued his life of service as a law enforcement officer, ultimately becoming Chief of Police in Bolingbrook, where he was respected for his leadership, fairness, and unwavering commitment to the community he served.

Above all else, Ronald will be remembered for his warm heart, steady guidance, sense of duty, and the love he so freely gave to his family and friends. His legacy of service, love, and strength will remain forever in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.
