Prior to retiring, he was a carpenter with the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners Union Local 253 in Jersey City.
A service minded individual, he was a member of UNICO of Cedar Grove, where he volunteered countless hours.
Beloved husband of Karen (nee Minigiello) Colello. Loving father of Gena Colello-Taunean and husband Alex and Ronald Anthony Colello, Jr. and wife Alexa. Adored grandfather of Nicholas Taunean.
The family will receive relatives and friends Saturday, April 12, 2025, 2 – 3:30 p.m. with service following at Shook's Cedar Grove Funeral Home, 486 Pompton Avenue, Cedar Grove, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Ronald to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Shriners Children's Philadelphia, Office of Philanthropy, 3551 N. Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19140 would be appreciated.
A celebration of Ron's life is being planned for May with a date to be determined at the Seaside Boardwalk, please continue to check back for details.

I fell in love with both of the Colello's @ JRI, He always came in with the biggest smile and was so very pleasant, I will miss him for sure. Rest in peace Mr. Colello. Lisa
