Ronald Comi Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Epting Funeral Home - Fayetteville on Jan. 6, 2026.
Ronald John Comi, 79, passed away on January 2, 2026, leaving behind a world forever changed by his presence.
Ron was born on February 15, 1946 in Montpelier, VT, and from the very beginning, he carried a quiet strength and a gentle spirit that would shape every life he touched. Ron served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He lived with a heart full of love freely to those fortunate enough to know him. To know Ron was to feel safe and feel seen. He had a way of making ordinary moments meaningful and turning simple conversations into lasting memories. His presence will echo in the hearts of his family and friends for years to come. Ron found joy and peace in fishing, golfing, hunting and many other adventures but his deepest happiness was the love of his family. He was proud of the life he built for them.
Ronald is survived by his beloved bride of 51 years, Catherine Comi; his brother, Richard Comi; his children: Bryant Comi and wife Terri comi, Kimberly Comi, Lora Kelley and husband William Kelley, and Sarah Comi; his 10 grandchildren: James Comi, Madelyn Osburn, Julia Osburn, Brooklynn Lyons, Chanel Kelley, Dayson Kelley, Brianna Comi, Jason Harris, Nicole Harris and Donald Harris and his wife Whitney; and 6 great-grandchildren: Desondra 'Sunny' King, Isla Berry, Gabriel, Liam, Kendall, and Grayson.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Comi; his mother, Elvira Comi; and his cherished daughter, Desondra Comi.
A graveside service will be held on Friday January 9, 2025 at 10:30 at the National Cemetery in Fayetteville, Arkansas, where loved ones will gather to honor a life that meant so much to so many. A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor at another location.
Though he is no longer with us, Ron's legacy remains in the love he gave, the lessons he taught, and the memories that will be cherished always.
He will be deeply missed, endlessly loved, and never forgotten.
Memorials can be sent to Epting Funeral Home of Bentonville.

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.
Ron
