Ronald Cutright Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Randolph Funeral Home and Cremation Services on Feb. 25, 2025.
Ronald "Ronnie" Greyland Cutright, 69, a resident of Jerusalem Road in Mill Creek, passed from life Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at West Virginia Caring Hospice Inpatient Center in Elkins.
Ronnie was born on Wednesday, February 8, 1956, in Elkins, a son of the late Raymond Cutright and Marcella Ware Cutright. On March 16, 1977, in Elkins, he married the former Diane Bland who survives at home.
Also left to cherish his memory is his only child, Mike Cutright of Mill Creek, three siblings, Marvella Currence and husband Reuben of Huttonsville, Rick Cutright and wife Wanda of Elkins, and Roderick Cutright and wife Cathy of King George, VA.
Ronnie was a 1974 graduate of Tygarts Valley High School and then obtained his bachelor's degree in education. He worked with his father for twenty plus years at Cutright Repair and Auto Body, been a member of the Mill Creek Volunteer Fire Department, owned Valley Contracting; building homes and doing remodels. Valley Contracting was responsible for building the original location of Valley Health Care in Mill Creek. For thirteen years, he worked as a mill and cabinet teacher at the Randolph County Vo-Tech Center in Elkins. Following his retirement, Ronnie worked as a maintenance technician for what ever needed to be done at Elkins-Randolph County Regional Airport. He loved woodworking and would be considered a master woodworker. Ronnie was definitely a people person and helped everyone he could. He enjoyed restoring classic cars; he helped his brother Rick, and his father restore a 1929 Chevy pickup truck. Ronnie also restored a 57 Chevy Bel Air station wagon that is still on the road today. He was a member of Beverly Lodge # 55, A.F. & A.M.
Ronnie's request for cremation will be honored. A gathering of family and friends will be held at the Randolph Funeral Home Tuesday, March 4, 2025, from 11 am until Noon, the funeral hour. Pastor Michael Webb will officiate. Interment will follow in Brick Church Cemetery in Huttonsville where members of Beverly Lodge # 55, A.F. & A.M. will conduct Masonic Graveside Rites.
