Ronald Corbin Dismukes, age 82, passed away on May 9, 2025. He was born on September 8, 1942, to parents, Paul Corbin and Anna Mae Dismukes Nelson.
A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 17, 2025, located at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Drive, Shreveport, LA. A graveside service will follow the visitation at 2:00 p.m. located at Forest Park West Cemetery, 4000 Meriwether Rd., Shreveport, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Rodney Gray. Honoring Ronald as pallbearers will be Scott Teer, Jeff Teer, Brandy Roberts, and Oswald Hollingsworth.
Ronald graduated from Byrd High School and was a pipefitter for AT&T. He enjoyed yard work, visiting Florida and Branson once or twice a year, and listening to his favorite bands, The Eagles and Exile.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Walter Paul Dismukes; and numerous cousins and friends. He is survived by his wife, Sarah Hollingsworth Dismukes.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Christus Highland ICU and Hospice for their kindness.
