Mr. Ronald Paul Dively, 80 of Hillman, Michigan died peacefully at MyMichigan Medical Center of Alpena on May 19, 2025. He was born in Flint, Michigan on February 4, 1945 to the late Shannon and Evelyn (Thompson) Dively. He bought property in the Hillman area in 1986 and then retired in 1998 and then moved to Hillman permanently where he has resided for the last 27 years. On December 23, 1997 he married Florine (Gilbert) Dively. Together they enjoyed traveling north to the bridge every year, sometimes just to go for a drive and share a cup of coffee while watching the boats come into dock. Ron loved being outdoors and sightseeing. In the mornings he would enjoy a cup of hot coffee while bird watching. He also liked to both hunt and fish. He will be deeply missed by everyone that knew him.
Ron is remembered by his wife, Florine Dively; son, Jeff (Lisa Pena) Dively; daughters, Shelly Mason, Alecia (Steven) Clapp; grandchildren, Tiffany, Brandy, Hunter, and Kayla; great-grandchildren, Garrett, Ezekiel, Oakland, Lawrence, Mabel; siblings, Gary (Peggy) Dively; and his first wife and mother to his son, Mickey Peridore. He was preceded in death by his parents, Shannon and Evelyn Dively; and son, Sonny.
In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place. There will be a memorial held in celebration of his life downstate with family at a later date.
