Ronald "Ronnie" Donoho, Sr., 78, passed away Thursday, August 8, 2024 at Evelyn's House Hospice in Creve Coeur, MO surrounded by his family.
He was born on May 15, 1946 in Centralia, IL to Raymond and Mary Ann (Lyman) Donoho. On January 7, 1967 he married Beverly Owen in Salem, IL and she survives him in Centralia.
In addition to his wife, Beverly, of 57 years, also surviving are his sons, Ronnie Donoho, Jr and wife Carrie, of Centralia, William Michael Donoho and wife Sheila, of Centralia and Benjamin "Ben" Donoho and wife Erica, of Hoffman; daughter, Melissa Gunter and husband Brent, of Scheller, Illinois; sister, Diane Barton and husband Norm, of Centralia; grandchildren Derek Brice Donoho and wife Patty, of Centralia, Justin Donoho and wife Abby, of Indiana, Jenna Donoho of Centralia Brayden Gunter of Scheller, Cody Gunter of Scheller, Madyson Donoho of Okawville, Travis Clayton, Lillian Clayton and Leslie Trask all of Hoffman; great-grandchildren, Adaleigh Donoho, Gaige Donoho and one on the way, Sullivan Donoho; and several nieces and nephews with a special friend and nephew : Joe Donoho of Centralia.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Mary Ann Donoho; a brother, Jasper Donoho and an infant sister, Janet Donoho.
Ronald was an outdoors man who loved fishing and spending time with his family. He loved to spend his past time tying jigs for fishing. He worked many years at Wheaton Plastics and never knew a stranger. He was a member of the The Rock Church in Centralia.
Funeral Services for Ronnie Donoho, Sr. will be held Monday, August 12, 2024 at 11:00 AM at The Rock Church in Centralia with Pastor Steve Upchurch officiating. Burial will follow at the Andereck-McClelland Cemetery in Sandoval, Illinois. A Visitation for family and friends will be held Monday morning from 9:00 AM until the time of service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Altitude Kids at The Rock Church and will be accepted at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home at 235 North Sycamore Street Centralia, Illinois 62801, (618) 532-3523, who is honored to be of service to the Donoho Family.
