Ronald Doty Obituary
Ronald Eugene Doty, age 68 of Lake Cicott, passed away Monday January 29, 2024, in Lutheran Downtown Hospital of Fort Wayne, IN.
Born February 21, 1955, in Peru, IN to the late John and Evelyn Doty.
Ron enjoyed anything to do with salvage and Junk. He enjoyed spending time with his grandson Braxton watching movies and had previously worked at National Friction and SUS.
Survivors include one son, Bryan L. (Leonda) Doty, Logansport; one brother Tom (Luann) Doty of West Virgina; two sisters, Sharon of AZ and Donna of Monticello; four grandchildren, Braxton Doty, Braden Wallace, Jayson Wallace and Justin Hardy; one great granddaughter, Aaliyah Baker.
Ron was preceded in death by one grandchild, Laric Wallace; and a sister, Sharon Zellers.
A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 pm Friday Feb. 2, 2024, in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Kelly Spencer officiating. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery.
A visitation will be held from 11:00 am until the time of services on Friday at the funeral home.
