Ronald Dulyea Obituary

Ronald Lewis Dulyea 83, of Baldwin Michigan formally a resident in Kane. Passed away at his son's home October 18, 2022.
Ron was the first-born child of William "Harold" and Arlene (Hopkins) Dulyea in Grand Rapids, MI on February 2nd, 1939. Ron is survived by his Sons: William (Colleen) Dulyea, Timothy Dulyea, Stepdaughters: Lisa (Tim) Wile, Becky (Randy) Rearick, Stepson: Roy (Betty) Stillman, Grandchildren: William (Katie) Dulyea, April (Ken) Kusmierski, Timmy Dulyea, Rose (Dustin) Hyden, and Devin (Hannah) Dulyea, Israel Rearick, Denver Rearick, Isaac Brocious, Melia Brocious and Amanda Gillespie, his sister Sandra, brothers: LaVerne (Jill) Smith and Larry Smith, many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his wife Sandra (Harlan) Dulyea, and his brother Raymond (Sharon) Dulyea and daughter-in-law Lisa Dulyea.
Ron joined the Army in 1959 and spent time in Germany as a fleet mechanic. Ron was very proud of having served his country. He was also a longtime member of the American Legion Post 102 of Rockford, MI. Ron retired from Rockford Packaging Supply Company in 2000 after 40 years of service, driving a truck. He met his wife Sandra in Greenville, MI in 1991. They moved back to her hometown of Kane, PA where he lived until 2020. Ron loved the mountains and the Allegheny National Forest where he lived in PA. He loved helping his stepson, Roy on the family farm. He had many caring friends and loved his family.
In his younger day, Ron was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He loved hunting, fishing and just being outside. He could be seen driving a tractor around or just sitting by a bonfire telling stories about "the good old days".
Funeral services will be at the families convince.
