Ronald Lee Eman, 53, of Danville, VA passed away at home with family by his side.
He was born on September 10, 1969 in Cherry Point, NC to parents, Robert Michael Eman, Sr. and Dorothy Mayhew. Ronald moved around when he was little due to his Dad serving in the Military. Ronald grew up in Danville, VA and attended DCC.
Ronald was a security guard and then went to tree climbing, he said climbing trees kept him in shape. Ronald was in tough men contests but found his passion and love in running. Ronald won the 10k and also ran the 15k and placed 9th overall. Ronald also had a passion for learning and teaching of the Lord. He would be in church any chance he could.
He loved everyone and would give anybody the shirt off of his back. Ronald had a lot of pain due to cancer but never stopped smiling. He was good about making you smile when you were having a bad day. Ronald loved his grandson, he would say he was his handsome, young man.
Ronald is preceded in death by his parents and stepfather, Wayne Mayhew.
Ronald is survived by his son, Christopher Eman; grandson, George Samuel and sister, Candice Renee, all of Danville, VA. Brother, Robert Michael Eman, Jr. and sister-in-law, Jennifer, who cared for him in Pace, FL until his passing. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and countless friends.
