Passed peacefully surrounded by family on September 9, 2023. Beloved Husband to Lois (Kustron) Ferrie of 69 years. Caring father to Beverley (Rod) Frank, Ronald P. (Susan) Ferrie, the late Janice Ferrie, Donna (Joe) Murtha, Lori (Tim) Bissert, Tom (Alicia) Ferrie, and Bethann (John) Petrovich. He will also be missed by many nieces and nephews, as well as 14 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
Ronald was a proud Army veteran. In his leisure time, Ron found immense joy in the sport of bowling, demonstrating both skill and sportsmanship on the lanes. Among his fondest memories were the annual family vacations to Ocean City, New Jersey, where he reveled in the sun, sand, and cherished moments with loved ones.
Family and friends welcome Monday, 2-8pm in WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE (412-563-2800) 1650 Greentree Rd, Pgh, PA 15220. Funeral Mass Tuesday, 10am in Ss. Simon & Jude Church, St. Raphael the Archangel Parish. Burial to follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
