Rosemarie K. Zagorsky
Age 94, of Scott Twp., passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2026. Beloved wife of the late Walter B. Zagorsky. Dear mother of Thomas (Susie Oh) Zagorsky. Rosemarie, a lifelong resident of the Carnegie area, graduated from Carnegie High School in 1949. She then went on to work as an executive secretary to renowned Pittsburgh businessman and philanthropist, Leon Falk Jr. After marrying her high school sweetheart, Walter “Whizz” Zagorsky, and giving birth to her son Tom, Rosemarie worked with a number of South Hills real estate firms as sales agent and broker. She maintained a sharp wit and inquiring mind up to her last days. Through it all, she deeply loved God and found enormous solace in her Catholic faith. She will be forever missed by her loving family and friends. Family and friends are welcome Friday, March 6, 2026, from 1-3 & 5-7 PM, WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE, 1650 Greentree Rd., Scott Twp., 15220 (412-563-2800). Parastas Service Friday at 6 PM. Funeral of Divine Liturgy Saturday, March 7, 2026, 10 AM in Holy Trinity Ukrainian Church 730 Washington Ave., Carnegie, PA 15106. Interment in Holy Trinity Cemetery.
